One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying back from India over the alps into Italy, the sun was starting to rise behind the plane. In the dim, pink morning light the caps of the mountains reflected just enough light to make them visible. The result was an array of beautiful pink mountain tops surrounded by darkness, with the occasional mountain valley shining with nighttime lights.
