ABOUT ME

I, Janell, am from Lake Worth, Florida and Ryan is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We almost have enough saved to rent out our own room in Gainesville where we're currently located. Both of us try to live a very d.i.y lifestyle.

Janell: I love knitting, sewing, and anything with arts and crafts. I try to go to as many shows as I can. I prefer to walk, but have mad envy for those who an pedal around for miles and miles. I like to learn about other cultures, especially the food since I enjoy cooking whenever I get a chance. I always keep a coloring book and colored pencils on me. Any questions? Please ask :]

Ryan: Well, since he won't come fill this out since he's consumed in a movie, I'll do it for him. He likes bikes and his 1970s road bike is his baby. He tends to gape at people riding bikes or bike shops since where he come from they only have, I believe, 1. He too enjoys going to shows, and tries to attend when he can. He likes getting involved in the punk scene, and is currently trying to volunteer at Wayward Council or CMC. Also, any questions for him, ask, and i'll make him answer.

We both want to stay in Gainesville, seeing as it's a beautiful place, has an awesome music scene, and some pretty rad people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as we have our own place, we want to be able to offer the same thing that has been offered to us: survival.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Janell: I couch surfed for the first time in Ryan's home town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Seeing as how only one person in the entire town was on this website, it was quite the experience. Going to the house shows there provided me meeting new people and multiple people just opening their houses to me. One person even gave me his apartment keys so i could have a place to myself for the night, providing a meal, a bed, and the best collection of sci-fi i've ever seen in my life. best experience ever :]

Ryan: this is my first time traveling and was told that gainesville is a great place for it.
