ABOUT ME

I am new to couch surfing and have heard wonderful things from good friends who host! I am visiting Santa Fe from Feb 1 - April 15 which I know is a lot longer than most people couch surf in one place, but a friend encouraged me to try this anyway. I am coming to Santa Fe to study at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America. I love creative or unconventional or adventurous people and especially love to listen and inspire the telling of stories in conversation. I have been a ceramicist, an artist in the schools, a professional mime and now I am a career counselor and storyteller. I love to laugh and my storytelling could be considered story comedy. Google Nell Weatherwax and see some YouTube if you're curious. I am also happy reading/writing quietly, hiking and exploring on my own or with friends. I am omnivorous but highly allergic to cigarettes. I love animals, especially dogs and cats.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in growing to become and helping others become their most authentic, inspired selves. I believe in reverent irreverence and finding the humor and story in anything. I am glad to be alive and learning and growing. I am inspired by sharing my path and listening to those tell of their paths. I love life and this quirky, wild, amazing bus of humans all around me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Supported three different friends in the delivery room while they were giving birth to their babies and gazed into the timeless eyes of a newborn. Hiked to top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, CA. Rappelled off of a 60 foot redwood. Lived and studied Mime and Clown Theater in Guanajuato, Mexico for 6 months. Often teach teambuilding through improv theater games to hundreds of credit union employees.
