ABOUT ME

At this point I am writer for the daily newspaper, working in cultural department. I am covering music, literature with the addition of s c a n d a l s, and I am not ashamed of that. Scandals are fun!
It`s not something that inspires me, though. My passions are Americana music in the widest sense (from early gospel to alt-country), home-style cooking of comfort food for my friends, role-playing fantasy and horror games, a bit of writing, skill which will, I hope, soon start to bloom into something worth reading.

At this point I can show CS member the alternative side of Belgrade! My couch is not available yet..basically there's just too many of us in the apartment right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None whatsoever so far! Hope to change that soon enough.

Interests

- Facts & fiction: good book is all I need to spend my afternoon. Subject is not the issue. I will read anything, from history of ancient Persia to "Crime and Punishment" to Philip Pullman novel.
- Culture of hedonism. Eating things like anchovies with olives and blue Bergamer cheese, while drinking nearly frozen Absolut Kurant, is not about being snobbish - but about learning that taste can be trained in order to achieve more! However, nowadays i am discovering the joys of home-style simple cooking.
- Religion & occult. Personal struggles in this field led to pretty comprehensive knowledge on religions and various practices. I still have no answers whatsoever on whether the Supreme Being(s) exists or nor. Knowledge just added to my confusion.
- Nature. Tent, backpack, fire, water, trees and mosquitoes. Love those buggers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Mostly Hollywood, with addition of Almodovar, Tarkovski and Herzog. Movies can be fun with explosions and lot of CGI, or can be extremely subtle. Otherwise I will not bother with them.

Music: Enjoying Americana music so much! Metal - Therion..Tiamat. Baroque chamber music. Purcell. Tuvan throat singing. Bob Dylan. Creedence Clearwater Revival. These popped in my mind right now, list can be different tomorrow.

Books: I don`t read popular psychology, crime novels and authors like Sydney Sheldon. At the moment, I read very tedious book about photography, due to some academic obligation.
