About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Carpe diem

ABOUT ME

Well, I'm new at couchsurfing. After years postponing it, I finally decided to start travelling (which is what I love to do the most). I consider myself a little idealistic, but very practical in term of adaptability to different situations. I love art and culture, specially MOVIES,I'm kind of a geek. But also enjoy outdoor sports like rock climbing.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life gives opportunities to those who look for them... I believe in God, but in a sort of personal deity not bound to any kind of institution. And the 2 words that change my life: Carpe Diem (seize the day), because is true.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm up for anything and eager to meet new people and new places. If a place is as good as the people you meet then i hope to meet interesting people and openminded. Which i have fortunately, though not through couchsurfing...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I'm new at couchsurfing, but I really want to try it.Tough not through couchsurfing, i have stayed with other families in the past i hosted many people in my home. and made great friendships with people from Maine, USA.

Interests

I'm a geek: love movies, literature, indie rock (and many other kinds of course). I enjoy writing and traveling above all.

Music, Movies & Books

favorite book: the silmarillion and the count of montecristo; music: indie rock like black keys or the temper trap; movies: to many to recount, as long as it has a good story; but I think Empire Strikes Back, Amelie, Lord of the Rings, Shelter, Lion King, 2001 a space odyssey, to name a few

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Interviewing one of my favorite film directors, Sebastian Cordero, on my first day at my job and having the change to publish an article about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm actually good at learning and teaching languages, I have a degree at teaching spanish (mi lengua materna). For the rest, i would teach about my country, but i think a good conversation is a great lesson.

Countries I've Visited

Colombia, United States

Countries I've Lived In

Ecuador
