Single mother with two boys age 16 and 11. I am a qualified midwife, but currently working self employed as a childminder.

I home educate my youngest son, he loves reading and maths. My eldest son is at school doing exams, and will then go on to college and university, he wants to study Archaeology.

The last two years we've traveled to different countries to explore the culture and history. We have tried to immerse ourselves in the local area, rather than 'touristing' our way around. We have managed this by staying with friends (previous Au Pairs) and using Air BnB.

We want to carry on exploring the world in this way, against the traditional grain, meeting new people and properly experiencing local life.
