I want to see as much of the world as I'm allowed. Two trips I'd like to take right now: cuba and chernobyl.

ABOUT ME

I love film and reading. Photography is a fun hobby and a great way to spend time. I began drawing recently because I'm naturally terrible at it. The idea is that if I persist in doing something that's difficult, everything that I already like will become easier.

I'm from east tennessee and have spent most of my life here, though i've lived a few other places. So far I've only been to europe and north america and hope to travel to asia, africa, and south america in the coming years.

Movies: i like french new wave, horror, shock cinema, i like the films of tarkovsky, lars von triers, wes anderson, spike lee, quentin tarantino, peter weir, stanley kubrick, werner herzog and many more

Music: T. Rex, David bowie, bob dylan, pinback, do make say think, tortoise, the police, the cars, blondie, slint, will oldham aka bonnie 'prince' billy, david pajo...too many to list but i hope that's representative.

Books: right now i'm reading lolita, one of my all time favorites is 100 years of solitude, but I also like independent labels that publish books like a*hole by hilton obenzinger and the boy detective fails by joe meno.
