Music, Movies, and Books
All kind of hip and relaxing music, adventure movies and books about culture or history.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2015, I went all the way to Iceland from Hong Kong to volunteer in a local football festival with 9 other international volunteers. We worked together, had great fun and absolutely life-long beautiful memories!
Perhaps you've missed the elephant herds at the background of my profile picture, but that was another amazing thing I've done in my life! That was a photo taken in September 2014, when I traveled along the north of Thailand - Chiang Mai to live with these endangered big animals for a week.
The elephant camp I lived in was a non-profit organisation which aimed at saving elephants from maltreatment in Asia especially Thailand and Myanmar. During that week, I learnt some funny habits of elephants and the struggles they're facing, helped bath and feed them, as well as cleaning their shelters. Despite having colorful memories living with these cute animals, this trip also reminded me to respect the nature and fight for the important values I treasure - human rights for example.
Teach, Learn, Share
Language exchanges are always fun. I speak fluent Cantonese and Mandarin, and can speak English. I've been learning French for more than 1.5 year, and I'm always looking for chances to practice.
