About Me
I was born and raised in Vietnam, currently I am studying Fine Art of Illustration at CSU, Long Beach, California. At the same time, I am freelancing as fashion photographer. To see more of what I am doing, you can check out my website at televec.us
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my friends mentioned how kind hearted people here have helped her to have a place to stay in cold winter of Berlin when she just first resettled in Berlin from London. So I decided to check this site out. Hopefully I will put it into good use in the future after I graduate and plan to travel the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Rock ballad. Some favorite songs: Not strong enough ( Apocalyptica), Nothing Else Matters ( Metallica), November Rain ( Guns&roses) ... I know they are all super old songs. I am not so trendy in term of knowing what kind of songs are hot right now, I am more of sticking to one song and listen to it over and over and over again.
Movies: Titanic ( i know right i am sorry~), the Rain Man, ... ( to be updated, I can't remember at the moment..weird)
Documentaries: Fat, sick and nearly dead, Folks over Knives, The true cost, Happy, Waste Land, ... ( I have been watching a ton of documentaries)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to New York.
Is it cliche'?
Definitely not. Imagine being from Vietnam, I would not imagine myself to have lived one day in US. And then one day I traveled to New York, that " top of the world" feeling was amazing. I secretly day dream to live in New York working as a freelance illustrator. Hopefully.
I also traveled to Utah, Arizona, Joshua Tree, Yosemite... the landscape are amazing. I am lost in words.
