I want travel, I want people, I want to not leave University and disappear into a pointless job and never do anything interesting again. I want to do and see lots of things before settling down with a nice house and some cats when I'm a proper grown up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the freedom of staying at other people's houses - as long as you've got some kind of roof over your head, even if it's a tent, it doesn't really matter where you are. One Christmas time I woke up with bruised ribs from sleeping on a wooden floor with no blankets or anything. Have also slept on a double bed with 5 other people, which is bizarrely possible. But yeah its all good.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One amazing thing I've seen: even though i haven't really travelled and seen 'the sights', I've definitely experienced some things I would describe as amazing. One thing is when I was camping in a field at the top of a hill with some friends, and we talked all night and then someone realised the sun was coming up, but then we looked the other way and it was dark with a crescent moon and stars. It was the most immense thing, sitting at the top of this hill with an amazing view of the sky, and on one side it was perfect sunny daytime, and on the other, perfect starry nighttime. Like in the cartoon of the Walrus and the Carpenter, if you know what I mean (!?) I love the sky, and I've seen a lot of awe-worthy ones.
