CURRENT MISSION
To experience many cultures while seeking what links us as a human race
ABOUT ME
This is a joint profile for myself as well as my girlfriend, Emily. We both just finished our undergrad studies at university, and are trying to see as much of the world as possible before returning for graduate studies September 2013. We are not the most experienced travelers, however we hope to change that. Currently we are in Madrid for a temporary job of hers. When this ends we have about 5 weeks left before our return flight to the US. We want to see as many cites as possible in that time, whether it be for a day or a week. We are happy to do odd jobs around the house, ie cook, clean, child care, etc. in exchange for a couch to crash on. We are happy to be as involved, or uninvolved as our hosts would prefer. Once we return to the states we will be moving back in with my parents for a short stay. Thus, if you are looking for a couch to crash on in California, we may not be able to help until September 2013. At that time we would be happy to repay the favor and open our house to the couch surfing community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Desperately trying to gain some.
Interests
We are young and always looking for new ways to experience and truly appreciate this life. That being said, we are both California kids who enjoy the beach. We are both very active. Emily danced much of her life, and I played lacrosse in high school. On top of that, I love all sports. I follow everything from American football to soccer to ice hockey. Lately I have been getting Emily more interested in soccer. We would love to watch some of the Olympic games with our host, either at your place or a local pub/eatery. We both enjoy hiking and would love it if you wanted to show us some of your beautiful local scenery. We love all different kinds of music, film, and television.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Niagara Falls in Ontario is definitely the most powerful thing I have ever seen. As you approach it you can feel the electricity in the air. When you get close enough, there is so much static in the air, your hair literally starts to stand up. It is a truly breathe-taking scene that everyone should make a point to see in their life. No promises, but I have some family a couple hours south and may be able to facilitate a couch to surf with them.
