Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I don't want to get the casual tourist experience that most people get as I consider myself to be a traveler/backpacker and not a tourist. Couchsurfing is a great way to get in touch with local people who can show you all the aspects of local life that tourists don't get to see, a perfect way to make new friends and observe the cultural norms that people have. It is the best possible way of visiting a country because it makes you feel like you are part of it's society for a couple of days.
