ABOUT ME

I enjoy the complexity of nature and the observations that the sun and life allow my eyes to see. I learn about myself and humanity everyday through the experiences a rich and privileged life allow me. I try to take nothing from life, but instead to accept what I get as gifts meant to open my mind and to learn from. All experienced in the hope to someday realizing a mindful way in which to live, that may enhance others' way of life, their well-being, and their states of mind.

In January 2003 I signed up for a study abroad trip with my University to India for a semester, and worked my way around the sub-continent and into Nepal. 5 months later I was home but knew I couldn't stay. 5 years ago I moved to Asia to work as an English teacher in South Korea, and ended up as a Divemaster working in Indonesia. After 4 seasons in Komodo, a season in Thailand, and a few trips across the Seas of Indonesia, I now work on a liveaboard called Pindito, currently based in Papua. Between working I've had the time to travel and see a few places in the area. The list only gets longer...
