Having reached 60 I am planning the next 30 years of this incredible journey.which has already provided me with so many adventures, experiences, friendships and insights. I want to continue to live in the real world, not the virtual world.
I am well read, well travelled, physically fit, jack of all trades, friendly, caring, easy-going single heterosexual, with no hang-ups.
To be in the moment, to bring my attention to what is in front of me and not to worry about the past or the future. To carry no excess baggage. To try to help make this beatiful planet a good place for everyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I guess I was doing this before it became official. I have travelled for 40 years with nothing bigger than a bag which will fit in the overhead compartment on a plane.
Travelling, meeting people, doing new and interesting jobs. Balancing hard work with meditation and gentle excercise like walking on the beach or in the mountains or just doing pilates.
Music, Movies, and Books
Whatever you are watching, listening to or reading.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailing a 36ft yacht across the Pacific from Panama to San Francisco via The Marquesas and Hawaii.
Living for a year on a cattle ranch in Colombia, South America.
Meeting my spiritual teacher in New York in 1984.
Visiting the Taj Mahal.
Teach, Learn, Share
Finding your own spiritual path is the only essential in life, mine is without dogma or ritual, it resides in self knowledge and appropriate action, through contemplation and connection with the universe.
