ABOUT ME
After college I studied Social Work in Ghent.. Three years were I met a lot of great people. Finishing this degree I applied in a firm called Colruyt where I work @ the Human Resources department.
I combine work with obtaining a Masters degree in Sociology.
I love humoristic people and try focussing on the good rather than staying stuck in negative thoughts.
PHILOSOPHY
'You only live one day, today!'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started using Couchsurfing due to a friend who used it while he was travelling. My first experiences with it I got in Lithuania where I met some amazing people. After seeing the great advantage/invention of it, I started hosting myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Myself I've only hosted an Australian girl. The fact that she was the only one is because my house is located in the countryside in Belgian. After my currently travels thru South America I'm planning to move to Ghent.. The city where I studied and I spend most of my time.
I've surfed already in Spain, Lithuania, Argentina and Brazil..
Interests
One of my major hobbies is sports. And by that I don't mean watching it on TV but practicing it self. I played socces when I was 12, changed to swimming after a few years to finally end with basketball with I quit last year.
I also love walking, discovering new things,..

- dancing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kaunas, Lithuania: Waiting on the bus to the central busstation to catch our bus in direction of Tallinn. Over 50 people were gattered to take the same bus cause Lithuania had just reached the 3the place on the World Basketball Championship. Basketball being the national sport of the country, every person wanted to welcome 'their' hero's downtown. When the bus arrived we took a lot of extra space due to our backpacks and pussed a lot of people even more together.. Angry looks were shooting like bullets out a gun when my travelmate began to sing 'Alway's look on the bright side of life (followed with the whistlepart:))'
