Travel and explore, meet people, find the harmony to my heartbeat
You would think that after 18 years of education I'd be ready to stop being a student and get a real job - but no, I'm continuing to avoid the grown up world. I have 12 months (at least)to do what I like, where I like, so I'm hoping to travel and meet some new people and have a thoroughly enjoyable time during this period.
I'm a fairly optimistic person and I love hearing about other people's stories and experiences. I'm always up for a challenge and trying something new, including couchsurfing!
Take every opportunity that comes your way. Even if it scares you. Particularly if it scares you.
Be happy - sometimes it´s difficult to be but it´s always worth it
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm hoping to meet some people who are travelling to/live in the areas I'm hitting up during 2011. I love to get a real local perspective of places that I visit so even if people don't have a couch but want to meet for a drink or a chat, I'm happy with that. I don't have a couch at the moment, but I'm happy to meet anyone in my area for a drink or a drive and show them around.
I´ve met up with some couch surfers in Coratia and Istanbul but only gotten to stay at one persons place due to my inability to plan more than 2 days in advance! I´m heading to Spain next week and I´m hoping to change this and stay with more people!
I love dancing and anything fitness related. I'm obsessed with aerial skills like aerial hoop, silks, pole dancing and trapeze. I legitimately ran away to join the circus last year.
I love cooking. If I stay with you, I will most likely cook for you at some point if you're happy with that. You should request that I make a dessert, specifically a pavlova (possibly the best dessert ever invented). My last experience making pavlova was with two Turkish women who spoke no English and had no oven so whatever I make for you can´t possibly be as difficult as that one was!
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a massive reader, favourite books at the moment are The Book Thief and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series.
Movies, I'm not so good at. My friends are continually amazed at all the alledgedly great movies I haven't seen.
Music is awesome. End of story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving over the ruins of Ephesus, kissing in a treehouse in Turkey, performing in front of thousands of people, learning to ride a scooter on the wrong side of the road, camping out in the Montenegrin mountains... traveling by myself for 6 months...
