Overview
About Me
Chatty, bubbly, and adventurous. I love wandering aimlessly, people-watching from park benches, and curling up with a warm drink somewhere. Born in the UK, raised in Canada and the US. After years in Somerville, MA, I hot-tailed it to Berlin for a couple of months to learn German, then spent a few months in Toronto before finally ending up right here in Montreal!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I made this account years ago but haven't had the chance to use it. Now that I'm free to travel more, I hope to change that!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie is 12, a Russian interpretation of 12 Angry Men. Book: Les Jeux Sont Faits by Sartre (but I have a pretty positive interpretation of it). Music: I love almost anything with a good beat, but I'm on a major French electropop kick. Current loves are Christine & the Queens, Stromae, and Yelle.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visited the parts of Kolkata where my dad spent some of his childhood - and directly confronting the role my family had in the British Empire. It was an intense trip.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can try to teach you some basic French, or have a loooong rambling discussion about the subtle differences between UK, Canadian, and American English.
