All about me? I am 36 years old, love to travel very much. My hobbies are reading, listening to music (lots of kinds of music), and spending time with friends.
I am talkative but shy at the same time, although in the end, you'll enjoy spending some time with me. If you happen to know me in my city or my country, I will try to show you around everything I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the time being, I offer some time to go and have some coffee somewhere, showing the city to people from abroad, but I hope soon to be able to offer a couch for some guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have stayed at a very kind friend in Buenos Aires whom I met through couchsurfing. The funny thing was that after she accepted my request for her couch I ended up staying at the home of someone from my country whom I contacted in the last moment. However I invited her to dinner and we had a good time. Some time later I finally stayed at her home and she was really kind. I would love to have other great experiences like this one.

Interests

I live in Uruguay, south America, although I plan to live abroad shortly. My country has a very nice coast upon the Atlantic Ocean. I love to stay in small seaside resorts along the coast, and enjoy the summer weather there. Having good music and good books, that is paradise on earth for me.
I like reading biographies, about any important person in history, from Steve Jobs, to Benjamin Franklin to Mao Zedong, Mick Jagger and Winston Churchill. And many more.
I also like traveling, and this is something I have not done enough until now, but I will soon make up for it.
Of course, I love meeting people from all over the world. If you are in Montevideo, please contact me to show you around nice places in the city. I guarantee a good time and an interesting talk.

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I like is classic rock, opera, celtic music, and... some other things also.
Favourite writers... Stephen King, G.K. Chesterton, Nelson de Mille, the novelist Scott Turow is great too, and some authors from my own country: Uruguay, such as Tomás de Mattos, Hugo Burel, and a few others.
Movies: Shadowlands, is one of my favourite movies, if not my favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rolling Stones concert, Lou Reed concert, Mark Knopfler concert, David Byrne concert, Bob Dylan as opening act for the Rolling Stones in Buenos Aires.
Trip to the south of Chile, during january for three years in a row. The exact place is the Ranco Lake, really, paradise on earth. Mountains, fields and the lake make that beatiful place impossible to forget.
Arriving alone at Beijing and taking a taxi to a hostel of which I had not the slightest idea about its location. Happily, I arrived safe and sound!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a polite and easy going person. I love to talk about the world with people from abroad. Especially I enjoy very much talking about each others cultures. I am good company, really.
