About me...? Well, where should I start?

I'm a curious young woman from Vienna, Austria who couldn't imagine her life without travelling around the world and discovering new places .
I've had my first and biggest adventure at the age of 17, when I spent five months in Québec where I went to school and lived with two lovely host parents and four wonderful siblings. That experience has definitely changed my life forever! And I've been looking out for further adventures ever since...

A few years ago I started going to university and finally decided on studying French (or Romance philology). In my leisure time I love to dance (I just started to try out all sorts of dances) and to meet up with my friends. (We usually grab some coffee - we do have a lot of fantastic coffeeshops in Vienna! - or cook ourselves some delicious food at home or take some walks or...well, let's say, we just (try to) enjoy life!)

What you have to know if you want to stay over:
I still live with my mom and my brother so I'll always have to check first if they're okay with someone spending time at our home, too...
In case I can't host you, we can still meet up and I can show you around a bit! :) (If I'm in Vienna at that time...)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said before, I really do love travelling! And couchsurfing seems to be one of the coolest ways to travel and to get to know all those different places in a very special way: by getting to know the people who actually make those places what they are!
There is one phrase that I remember from a song from Zaz which actually sums it all up quite well: "[...] On dira que les rencontres font les plus beaux voyages [...]" :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I actually like all different kinds of music (except Heavy Metal, to be true...) though there are some bands and singers I'll probably never stop listening to: Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ellie Goulding, Ed Sheeran and Macklemore, for example...

My favourite books will always be the Harry Potter books. I learned to love them when I was a child and even though I haven't read them a second time yet, they still remain in my memory and I really do look forward to the day I finally get to read them again (in English this time)!

And every time someone asks me 'bout my favourite movies I tell them how much I love the Marvel and DC superheroes!
