I was blessed with the opportunity of studying and living abroad several years ago. Since my travels have ended I cannot seem to shake the need to get back abroad.

Interests

My interests are kind of all over the place. I love music and concerts, sports and going out. My favorite sports are baseball and American football, although I've been watching a lot more soccer since I've been here. Reading is another one of my passions. During the summer you can usually find me outside with a good book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I can listen to anything from rock, pop, oldies, folk, trance, jazz and classical. I love it all. Some of my favorite bands include Kings of Leon, The Shins, Vampire Weekend, Anberlin, Brett Dennen, Joshua Radin, Sleeping at Last.

Movies - I usually like more of the "guy" action, comedy, war movies. Some of my favorites are Braveheart, Band of Brothers, Liar Liar, Joyeux Noel, Les Choristes, Trainspotting and Saving Private Ryan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done so far in my life would be taking a trip to Normandy and seeing the sites of D-day (J-Jour). I'm a huge history buff and that has been my number 1 on my bucket list for quite some time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Like I previously said, I love learning about others and their culture. I want to see cities from the local's point of view, rather than doing all of the "touristy things."
