About Me

To see all that I can see

Well. I'm short and feisty. I've been accused of a Napoleonic complex. I'm a purveyor of sarcasm and irony. I am highly opinionated and I want to know all about your opinions too.
I like adventures and spontaneous travel, quests, and world domination. Social justice is very important to me.
I don't ever double dip and I keep a spotless bathroom.

I'm wary of people with personal philosophies.
Let's go on an adventure and try to change the world.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Thus far I've only had excellent experiences, better meals, and enjoyable conversations. Looking forward to more!

I'm very interested in how generic these questions are, and the generic answers they receive. Humor, Sarcasm, Philosophy, Deconstructive ethics, Feminism, Queer misogyny, Traveling (duh), Books, Cuban food, Indian food… food - really, green tea, festivals, hiking, adventures and vitamin C.

Music, Movies & Books

I'm not nearly as well versed in movies as I should be. But Finding Nemo and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, if I must pick.

I adore hiphop and alternative rock, but will listen to anything so long as it's not techno. If you want to dance salsa, merengue, or bachata with me, I will fall in love.

I couldn't name a singular book, because I am way too cool and literary to have a favorite. But I read a lot of 21 century postmodern fiction and a lot of continental philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I lived in the country of Georgia for a bit and that was really spectacular. Solo hitchhiking through Southern Africa was also very interesting.
I always thought I'd hate hiking mountains until I did and then that really changed my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I met one person in the Zambian airport for about 15 minutes and we have stayed friends ever since. Sometimes 15 minutes is all you need.
