About Me

I'm Nicole and I'm a writer. I think I'm a pretty fun person to hang out with, I'm interested in a lot of things, especially if it's challenging. I'm always looking forward to my next trip.

I think I'm pretty friendly, I talk too much once I get to know you. Je peux parler un petit peu Français. I also know a lot of little facts that don't really serve any purpose.

Learning new languages, one at a time. :D

I believe that you''ll only regret the things you did not do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can definitely give tips about anything in Singapore. I hope to host someday, maybe.

I started a weekly volleyball meet up in Singapore, and I've been seeing a lot of new faces since. It's been going on weekly without fail for about 2/3 years now.

Join if you're interested and are in Singapore! :)

Went paragliding because a member of the CS community offered to take some of us flying for no cost at all. I like flying, you should try it someday.

Couchsurfed in USA, it was an incredible experience. I've seen places I wouldn't have if I were a typical tourist, and I've made friends with strangers and have remained friends since.

When I'm not on the internet, I spend what ever time I have reading, eating or just staring at my ceiling. I would love to see every part of the world, but that's just insane, baby steps will do for now.

I game. I think others call people like me a gamer chick. I'm not sure. Hahahaha.

I can cook, but I might need recipes. I can draw, I think I'm quite good at it. I can craft, cards, stuffed toys, and whatever my hands allow me to do. :)

Contrary to popular beliefs, I am actually quite active and I love sports. Rockclimbing, cycling, rollerblading, water sports, anything really! I think I just lack the right people to do it with, so CSers flood my inbox please! :D

I played volleyball on the first team for my school some years back, and I love it, I'm still playing it now. Competing in a volleyball league. If you are up for some beach volleyball, I'm game, leave me a message!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, music and books but I'm rather picky about it.

There are movies where I can watch again and again, I can play the scenes in my head over and over, and then there are those movies that I can't even stay awake for.

There are music that I can listen to over and over again, memorise the lyrics by heart and sing at the top of my voice, and then there are those that I hate so much without any reason why. There might also be a special group of music which I hate but find myself singing to it, that's when I shoot myself in the head.

There are books which I cannot put down, spend hours reading it until I'm done with it completely and books which I can read over and over again, books I can quote off the top of my head. And then there are books which I cannot even bring myself to finish reading the first chapter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wish I could say auroras, but nope. Not yet. Wait for it.

Went paragliding in Kuala Lumpur, one of the best experience I've had so far. It was pretty damn awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am really good at arts and crafts, I don't know how this will benefit anyone but hey, if you wanna learn... I'm right here.

Countries I’ve Visited
