I have traveled all over the world and love to meet people. I think I am a considerate house guest. At least, I have been told so. I like to go to bed fairly early and am a morning person.

It seems like a good idea and a more personal way to get to know people and their culture, rather than staying in a hotel room.

Some of my favorite movies are Sophie's Choice, Il Postino, and more recently the films Spotlight and The Big Short.
I loved the books Alex and Me, Middlesex, and The Art of Racing in the Rain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year hitch-hiking around Europe by myself.
