ABOUT ME

I'm a Christian girl from Denmark. When you meet me for the first time I can seem a little bit scared and shy, but when I feel comfortable and safe I'm a really happy,an open, funny and friendly person; who are very interested in knowing people, find new friends. I'm good at paying attention to the person I'm talking with and I'll do what I can to make the person feel loved, important and special. I enjoy my own company, but I love being around other people. I guess this is a very honest decription of myself. But as there's more to life; there's more in me.

PHILOSOPHY

The journey is just as important as reaching the goal.

I've been thinking a lot about the question: "How are you?" It's a really honest and interesting question and it needs an honest answer. But is the person who's asking always ready for an honest answer? Often I answer "I'm good", because that's the answer I'm supposed to say; that's what the person probably is expecting me to say. But really it's an honest question and it deserves an honest answer. But are we always ready to have that conversation? What if the person is not "good" or "OK", what if he or she is "OK"? How come and why? So I'm thinking of how can I start a coversation without asking that question but still have an icebreaker...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a newbie, but I've meet a few people who recommended CouchSurfing as a really good way to get to know other people. So I'm looking forward to meet friends through CouchSurfing.

Interessen

I'm interested in knowing Jesus more and more and see other people be saved and get to know the God I love, serve and worship. God is good!

And I like riding a bike, play beach volley and volleyball, soccer, wildlife adventures, rapelling, surviving weekends, singing, playing both screen- and board games,running, floorball, cooking and baking, history in general, listening to music and finding new music (like a hipster-ish), reading, cafe dates with friends, explore the world and cities, going for a walk/hiking, be creative, I like writing, I like talking and having a good conversation/ small talk. I could go on forever...
And I love laughing!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite music genres are: Jazz, soul, all kinds of indie music, detailed rock and classic music. All sorts of music actually. Music is a gift and love to explore and find new, good, bands before they get mainstream and well-known. I like that I've-been-listening-to-that-music-for-a-long-time-feeling. Otherwise I'll tell You if I don't like it. :)

Movies: King’s Speech, Remember the Titans, Das Wunder Von Bern, Droemmen, Shawshank Redemption, Amelie.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I convinced one of my friends not to become suicidal. I prayed for a knee that needed surgery and it got healed. I prayed for an Atheist.

Joined a national school camp in physical science as a 16 year-old.
It's a very good and interesting question... I'm still thinking. (To be continued)

I know how to find the good coffee places. And hidden treasures in Copenhagen and Melbourne.
I know how to bake and cook.

I would love to learn how to surf, speak french and indonesia and making a real pavlova.
