Overview
About Me
My name is Nikita and I am currently an Engineering Physics student at Queen's University in Canada. While I love anything to do with math and science, I also have an insane appreciation for the arts. I play the guitar and piano, and used to be a professional dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet school.
I love experiencing and doing new things, and the thought of working 8 hour days for the rest of my life scares the crap out of me. I am an entrepreneur at heart and want to write my own life story. For now, that includes doing as many cool things as I can and visiting as many different places as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This summer I am visiting San Francisco before heading off to Shanghai, China to work for a few months as an electrical engineering intern with Cisco. For the last month of summer I am travelling SEA and hoping to do a ton of cool stuff. I'd love to meet tons of cool people during my travels, and I think there is no better way to do that than couch surfing with awesome people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A couple years ago I did one of the most incredible things in my life - I auditioned for the National Circus School in Canada. I auditioned as a dancer (not a circus artist), so I was clearly the underdog. But that didn't stop me from having the time of my life. I tried my hand at the German pole, hand-to-hand, and the art of hand-standing. The cherry on top - I was one of very few people accepted to the school at the end of the audition!
