I like funny movies, comedies something easy to have good time. On the other hand I like watching something like mystery, thriller or detective. Mind games, Shutter Island, Mist. I like different kind of music. As for the books I like something easy but meaningful. The last one I have read is "To kill a Mockingbird" which I think is impressive.
