Successfully make the transition from British Urban Dwellers to French Peasants!

ABOUT ME

Married (only very recently and we're still very weirded-out by the idea of saying "my wife/husband").

Early 30's.

British but moved to remote/rural France a few years ago to escape London.

We've got a Small-Holding with 2 Dogs, 4 Cats, 10 Chickens, 4 Sheep and 2 Pigs.

Growing many organic vegetables, building with eco-materials and traditional methods and generally living a simple life.

We're both pretty laid back and easy going. We are happy exploring new places and also happy hanging out and relaxing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We like to really get to know new places rather than simply follow the ordinary tourist trail and Couch Surfing seemed like a good way to meet new people and gain greater insight into the places we travel to/through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are just new to this website but have spent many nights on random sofas, in random places with random people whilst travelling - does that count?.

兴趣

Travelling - obviously! Eating, cooking, dancing, laughing, reading, films, environmentally sound thinking, growing veg, mountain biking, skiing, knitting and hanging out with friends.

We lived in Malawi, on a remote lake shore for a year and ran a back-packers lodge there.

(six hours boat ride from the nearest place with running water and electricity)

We lived in grass huts on the beach and had an amazing time.
