ABOUT ME

Well I took art in college for a year but right now I want to travel again. I can't stay in the same place for too long, ever since I started traveling I couldn't stop! I like to go out and meet new people, learn new phrases and pick up on the culture of a place. I have adventurous tendencies and I'm always looking for a good laugh! I'm trusting in nature and I believe that there are many good people out there still. I expect a lot out of my life, and I see it very much like a book. I would want my life to read like good story, full of experiences!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having travelled alone myself, I understand the need to find a person or group that is willing to make your experience that much better. How I plan to participate is by extending a welcome to travelers traveling in Alberta by means of showing them around my city.

Interests

MUSIC is number one! I love to dance, so I'm definitely interested in anything with a good beat/rythm. I also play the drums. ART is also a main interest for me. Generally photography and drawing is something that I'm very interested in. Journalism and documentary work also interests me greatly. And of course there is my interest in traveling :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open minded sort of individual, so that applies to my music which varies as well. I like to listen to electronica mainly, dance and club. Hip Hop and reggae, house and rock. You name it, I'll listen to it! just no country please:P I used to read a lot of novels when I was younger, now I mainly read National Geographic, Architectural Digest and the newspaper.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

watching the sunset behind a pink and orange sky in Monaco and dancing the "pony dance" underneath the Eiffel Tower with a group of exchange students from all around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more Portuguese for sure! I am learning now the basics in conversation and hope to use it in Brazil. If anyone has any advice for a first time, single female traveler to Brazil I would really really appreciate it! Thanks :)
