I am fun loving person, and a hard core optimist.....I love to move around, explore places, and meet new people....Maybe you can say I am just another useless fellow on this planet, but thats the way it is :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I look forward to host/accompany couch surfers who come along near my place and build on the network of trust and warmth that has been established by this community. Wherever I go, I try to get in touch with CSers and get to know them because thats one of the best ways how you can find out and really get to know a place :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well...now I can claim that I have had extensive CS experience... I have surfed with CSers in Paris, Marseille, Nice, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, across length and breadth of Germany and Switzerland, Barcelona and parts of Italy, some places in Belgium and Amsterdam, travelled across Czech and Austria....all with CSers.....and am now going to Barcelona. Plus I have been to a number of CS gatherings and believe me, they are generally the best ones one could ever be to !

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : Well, It depends a lot on the mood. At times it is Hindi Rock, At times it is soft bollywood indian music, or ghazals; At times it is the crazy party beats, hard rock. And even Electro and Arabic ! So, you see...Its the entire universe maybe :)

Books - I realy loved some of Coelho's works - The Alchemist, Zahir, Eleven Minutes. Then I liked 'Snow' by Orhan Pamuk, Khaled Hosseini's "Kite Runner" and "Thousand Splendid Suns" are other favourites.

Movies - Ahemm...Again a deep interest...Indian movies like "Andaz Apna Apna","Sholay","Dasvidaniya"...Then Hollywood stuff like Notting Hill, Pursuit of Happyness, Amelie, Babel, Amelie, Little Miss Sunshine, Before Sunrise and Before sunset, Sweet November, Life is Beautiful, Forrest Gump and the list is long ! I can go on and on !

Teach, Learn, Share

Well...Thats something good. I know to cook some good Indian food, so I can always cook it for someone...and teach you how to do that.

Also, I know some yoga...have been practicing it for quite some time now...So can definitely teach you some yoga....

And yes, Indian (Bollywood) movies...I just love them ! I have a good collection of them, so can always share a DVD/CD with you...or can sit and watch them with you with english subtitles (if thats what you prefer)

And so is the case with Indian music...Have a good collection of it...and would love to share it with you...and at the same time listen to your kind of music...

Umm....what else......Yes, I love to play computer games....so anyone for some Mario, Counter Strike, AOE...count me in !

Plus am an expert in Hindi and English languages, and have just started learning French...so any language exchange is always welcome.

What I Can Share with Hosts

1. Excellent Indian food - I love cooking, and can cook some mouth watering Indian specialty !

2. Bollywood cinema - Have a great collection of Indian movies (with English subtitles - Can share them )

3. Yoga - Can of course teach some yoga. While I don't claim to be an expert, can for sure teach some basic breathing exercises !

4. And of course, My cs stories !
