Polish by birth and European by vocation. Finished MA in European Studies and currently trying to figure out where and what to do, so that it will (actually!) make a change!
I'm friendly, but direct and straight-forward person. Hard-working and devoted to my passions :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people that share the same curiosity about the world :)
I did an exchange semester in North Carolina, where I've met some fantastic people, and an Erasmus semester in Valencia, Spain, where I met even cooler people :) I lived also for 6 months in beautiful Switzerland doing a volunteering/host-family-living program. For 5 months I travelled around in North and Central America. All that wouldn't be the same without all the freaky people!
I'm interested in European Union and world affairs, issues. I don't consider myself an expert in any way and I'm always very curious to hear opinions of others.
I like challenges, but also possibilities that traveling gives me daily. The so often used "getting out of the comfort zone" can really change a lot in one's life. I get to know myself better and have much more chances to improve :)
In my free time I like reading and learning foreign languages.
- adventure travel
- cultural immersion
- budget travel
- foreign languages
Music, Movies, and Books
Extensive music taste :) favorite author - Mario Vargas Llosa
Teach, Learn, Share
- I can teach Polish - the super difficult language :D
- explain what is EU, where did it come from and why people claim that we need it!
