About Me

ABOUT ME

If you'd ask my friends, they'd probably tell you that I'm more the quiet, independent type who likes to lean back and observe others. But they'd also tell you that I can be quite fun, outgoing, that I love a good joke (and a bad one if it's told right), am loyal and like to explore new things whether that's food, places or getting to know new people. I am tolerant and respectful and do expect the same from others. For friends and family, I'd do just about anything and I look out for them. And I love music. Unfortunately, I cannot play any instruments - never had the patience to learn. But I love concerts and festivals for their unique atmosphere and music for the way it makes me feel.

Interests

Music, books and film is what can grab my attention and I can involve myself in completely. I love a good song that makes you smile, shiver or else even after listening to it for a hundred times. I love a good story - whether written or on TV. An intricate play that involves contrasting, temperamental characters, adventures, deep relationships, magic, a happy end, an unexpected turn of events and so much more.
I also like to see new places, walking through a new city and soaking up the feeling of it, meeting new people, exploring the more quiet and hidden corners that a group tourist won't see. I like to sit in a cafe and watch the people strolling by. And I love to hang with my friends and luckily that often involves travelling through the country to get to where they live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to live abroad. Twice. I am still amazed that I went through with it, but at the time, I just wanted to go. Leave. Explore something else besides the small town I grew up in. I don't usually go around thrill-seeking, would never jump of a tower or a plane (afraid of heights), but living somewhere completely new where you know no one can be just as thrilling and exciting. It at least was for me and left me so much more independent, confident and re-assured that I can do what I need to do.
