Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Usually stay at campsites and hostels as they are generally a good way to meet people while travelling (although they are generally fellow travelers). I thought I would give Couchsurfing a try to see how people actually live in the different countries I visit rather than just seeing places completely as a tourist.

Most of my trips are for about 1-2 weeks and I try to stick to 1 country to experience it as much as possible. I try to mix it up between cities and the country side/national parks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been trying to visit all of the US National Parks. I didn't realize the beauty of the parks till I first went camping with a school group in 2003. Since then I've been hooked and have been to about 35 of them. Only 24 left to go!

I used Bla Bla Car in France without knowing French.
