About Me

Hi, I'm a medical student who loves exploration and adventure. I don't have any references yet because I've never CouchSurfed before, but I'm looking forward to it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to go on holiday to learn about cultures and their traditions and history. It's nice to meet a friendly local to help around the city. Also interested in trekking across different landscapes and walking through bazaars.

Interests

In academia my mind is geared towards science but my hobbies all lie within the arts. I am happy to study medicine because it means I can help people directly and talk to a lot of different people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I've recently developed a big interest in all traditional/old music. I also listen to a lot of Arabic and classical, and I have some old school English favourites.

Films: Drama is probably my favourite genre, followed by thriller and adventure. Fan of x+y, The Theory of Everything, My Sister's Keeper, Charlie Chaplin, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Spirited Away

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled across England from west to east coast (along the Trans Pennine Trail) for charity with some friends - about 333km in 5 days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like language exchange; I can teach you some Arabic and show you some of my middle-eastern interests.
Trying to teach myself Arabic calligraphy; anyone interested in art I'd like to know what types you're into.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
