About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to see as much as the world as I can... well, not to just see it but to experience it. I enjoy getting off the beaten path when I can and meeting new people!

ABOUT ME

I'm easy going (or like to think so) and like to meet new people, go new places and try new things (sometimes all three of those things at once). I don't travel nearly as much as I want to.

PHILOSOPHY

Dime con quien andas y te diré quien eres. -Proverbio Español
Tell me with whom you walk and I'll tell you who you are. -Spanish Proverb.

I think that those we meet along the way influence greatly who we are. Everything dies but personal connections make an impacting difference.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell as many people as I can about this awesome site!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For me meeting real people and experiencing a culture is the only way to see a new country and travel. I've done some host family stays and have made many international friends and look forward to connecting with locals while traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was shopping with my host-brother in a pretty ritzy district of Tokyo when I came across a hooded sweatshirt from MY UNIVERSITY back in Wisconsin at a vintange clothing store. It was pretty ugly and cost $150 (yes, US dollars) so i didn't buy it but I would say that it was definitly one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English and Spanish (though the Spanish is getting rusty). I can play chess (poorly). I can teach you how to make friendship bracelets. And there's nothing I wouldn't like to learn.

Belgium, Canada, Ecuador, Japan, Mexico, Panama, United Kingdom
