I'm a recent college graduate with a 2yr degree not 4yr. After graduating, I decided to go to a backpacking trip to Southeast Asia. After the trip, I am not sure what will happen, but I don't plan on giving my life away to a 9-5 any time soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of what Couchsurfing is all about, meeting new people and being able to make connections that could last a lifetime. I think it's also a very interesting way to see how people live their lives and share information about what the environment is like.
I'm pretty big on exploring what's in the area whether it be hiking to see great sites such as summits, beaches, or waterfalls (love waterfalls!). I hike in my local area a lot at home. I would also like to walk around town and smell the food and see unique characteristics each place has to offer.
Can't say no to taking a good picture along your travels right?
Reading books has become a recent hobby of mine that I can't get away from now. I like travel fiction or books that offer great wisdom about life.
Immersing yourself in another culture is essential to travel. As an introvert, I would definitely like to meet to people. I'm practicing to become more open to others and make new friends. Meeting new people can mean making lifetime friendships! Those connections are important because they know the language and culture for that destination, which I'm always excited to learn new things.
