I think it presents the most optimistic vision of life ever to be imagined. I wish it were always, but it's only sometimes.

In addition to that:

I have a dog. I like animals - land, sea, and air, including bugs, which are animals. I like doing things outside and getting dirty.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe meaning is more important than pleasure or pain. The myth of progress. Absurdism. The impermanence of everything. Trickster snakes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I slept on my friends' couch once. In the morning, I confused the sound of their heater with the sound of someone taking a shower. After an hour or so, I started getting worried about the person I thought was taking a shower.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like any music that has a strong atmosphere, and which has emotional content that is outside of what one experiences on a day-to-day basis. Technical wankery, which includes compositional wankery, doesn't really do it for me, neither does novelty for the sake of novelty.

I like good books and movies. I don't see any sort of pattern to what makes a movie or book appeal to me. Stuff written from unique perspective is usually appealing, unless it's an unappealing perspective.
