Hi, my name is Marisol and I'm a BSc in Biochemistry student. I'm from Murcia (Spain) but currently I'm studying at University of Granada. I really love listening to music, I can't go outside for a walk or for a roadtrip without my earphones. Figuring out the stories behind the lyrics is one of my favourite things to do. I have been playing the violin for 9 years. I also play piano and electric bass off and on. I want to specialize in Bioinformatics applied to Genomics because I love programming and I consider Computer Science a key factor in the progress of Biomedical Sciences. I have never been in a foreign country on my own and I consider such an experience perfect to learn from new cultures and people. I like listening to people and learning new things, better if the conversation takes place in a natural environment or with nice views. Photography is another of my passions, especially macro and portrait.

I am looking to meet new people in Cork, Ireland, where I will be doing a lab internship in a Bioinformatics team in the UCC this summer.
