About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To exploring South America (Chile, Argentina and Peru) with my girlfriend for the next 3 months.

ABOUT ME

My name is Noah Swerdloff and I am 24 year old student from Astoria, Oregon setting off on a 3 month journey through South America with my girlfriend Ashlyn. Our goal is to explore the national parks of Chile, drink our way across Argentinean wine country and discover the architecture of Buenos Aires, all while enjoying the local cuisine. I am an avid traveler with thanks to my lovely parents who have taken me to places like Thailand, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Israel, Turkey, Italy and Germany. I have also attended a school organized trip around Germany, France and Switzerland. I love to read books and learn about different cultures, their histories and political climates. I love to cook, bake and prepare foods of all kind. But most of all I enjoy peoples company and making friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to play soccer, frisbee, cards, and participate in discussions revolving around history, architecture, activists and natural science. I am pretty active and love to hike, bike, climb, and have a good time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed once before in Greece, however my host made me feel completely at home. She was was very welcoming, and showed me around the town, introduced me to her friends and family and helped me explore Athens/Piraeus.

Interests

I love being outdoors and soaking in landscapes and the sky, but I also enjoy the bustling city during the day or night. I love to meet new people and enjoy great food. Traveling has always been my greatest passion and I am very excited for South America.
