I'll be leaving France for New Zealand in March 2017 for a 3-years PhD in Biology/Biotechnology/Food industry. I'll stay 1 month in Auckland for the administrative part and then I'll move to Christchurch for at least 6 months in the company I'll work for.
I'm very excited to discover this country I've always dreamed of, people, culture, landscapes!
As I don't know anyone living around Auckland, I would love to meet other travelers, kiwis, internationals, everyone! And I would be very happy to join you on a hike or other kind of trip :D

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of music except for hard music but we could strike a balance :) My favorite artists are Macklemore, Naâman, Sean Paul, La Femme, Wiz Khalifa, Jain...
I love all of the Harry Potter books and films and more generally interested in thrillers (Usual Suspects, Seven, Prisoners etc.). I also like historic movies and especially movies on WW1/2, classic movies (Forrest Gump, The Green Mile...) and Pedro Almodovar's movies.
The last books I read and that made me feel something weird are: Grapes of Wrath, John Steinbeck (yes, a classic one, but better late than ever!), To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee and Au Bord des Cendres, Jean-François Bouygues.

So, as you can see, I have a variety of musical, cinematic and literary tastes! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could share my positive mind (always have a plan ), I'm not a person who tends to be dramatic when I'm confronted with a problem.
I also could share my great sense of humor! :D you judge!
And I said earlier, I could share a hike, trip etc. with great pleasure to discover the country!
