Host people from all countries in this wide world since i cannot travel
I am currently in Yaoundé-Cameroon West Africa,so why not open my doors sooooo wide to strangers.I decided that since i cannot go to America i can bring that America close to myself.I always hear that" if America sneezes the whole world catches cold".No America no world. So thanks to CouchSurfing,I can bring not only America but the whole world at my door steps. From Hawai island or Australia to Cameroon: knowing it is not so easy to visit the whole wide world though a global village. Why not hear about the world from Guests, see pictures, videos,I love welcoming people from all corners of the globe, to manage a night or more in my house. Life is too too short, but the globe is full of interesting things to see and know, such as nice people, broad ideas, wider experiences, cultural differences and shock,of course i am very much interested in stuff like that. We do not learn only by schooling, but from people especially travellers."life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the places and moments that take our breath away"
Traveling could be the best thing in life than vanity. So i am still naive as far as this wide world is concerned. While I have pratically visited only 26 countries out of 197 or so, the rest i have visited theoritically so no despise, if you are more than me.
.I love to keep myself busy and ignore worthless things.I try to understand this world and it's new people of this generation and how people want to live their lives and what they are hunting for.I love minding my business.People come from different parts of the world and the culture is quite different to that of here.I wish to make everyone around me to be happy and understand the value of human beings as different from animals.I love people who respect other dirty cultures or places or have pity for the poor people and not just despise them.I am willing to share ideas of all sort under the sun. Sometimes i can talk too much if you want to.As well as i fear to ask many questions not to upset my guests or say something that might hurt you unknowingly. and love peaceful mind,I have no time for worries or things that are not important .I am not sooo rich as CS is open for poor Host and not only poor guests or travelers ,so can offer you just a simple place to sleep not for sooo long a time,So carry sufficient cash for your daily basic needs, transportation and onward travel, other miscellanous items, not forgetting funds to cure Malaria, ATMs can be dissapointing carry small Euros or Dollars, from day 1 , i would not be on your budget I can sacrifice to pick u up anywhere in the city so long as it is not costly for me example airport pick up or drop off will be above my pocket. I do not own a car yet.So budget for that,When i travel i raise money for everything before takeoff and do not become a burden to my hosts, even bad things happen along the way.
You are also advised to carry along with you, your original passport part and parcel of you when going out of the house. It is mandatory here even for citizens or residents. It can end one in jail,my one time guest was involve in a mess,
Try to behave so well even in public during your entire stay despite your weaknesses if not we will have to separate anytime.House rules should be respected, late coming back home or too much reliance on me for assistance, I deserve respect as your host and not as your servant or bodyguard or free tourguide, I do not smoke nor drink beer but you r welcome
What my conservative community does not like and i would not love to carry the shame on me no matter how good a guest you are,Piercings, men wit earings, Tattoos, pair of shorts, filthy clothing, scattered hair, ladies half nakedness, roaming around the compound in pants, chasing girls around the neighborhood, smoking randomly, beards, shoes on carpets, etc so we can easily separete because of the above for they may not be visible in your profile during acceptance. i hate messy guests
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on CS because i love meeting new people.I love to hear about other countries, cultures, ideas, lifetime experiences of others or travelers. I belong to the visa barrier category country coupled with low travel budget.
Besides hosting far away strangers is part of my culture. Strangers who may be so tired, stressed out, sleepless nites sooo far away from their homes,i can make them feel better in my house than in their original homes.I feel is some kind of good thing to do. I host friends, relatives, acquintances too.
But recently i am so skeptical about freeloaders who are just looking for a place to stay and save money for more future travel or exeggerating CS how it should work and ready to leave a negative reference for no good reason, thus reducing my hospitality to only a free bed,I cannot give more than i have if you have already been spoilt by rich hosts search for those rich hosts and leave me in peace.
I am here to meet serious people in life and not confused men with bad habits, why not build a new family,
i love to hear about other countries, cultures, try new food, nature, comedy ,Traveling, concerts, clubs, hiking, jokes, politics etc
