About Me

CURRENT MISSION

after many years of travelling all over the place - i hope to find somewhere to settle down a bit...

ABOUT ME

A cross pollination of wilderness, city, hi-brow, low-brow - all circulating in a curious wonder about how and why we are here on this planet...

So - I have wandered around a bit to see if I could find some clues - got a few - but they don't make anything any easier...

I occupy my time seeking out audio phenomena - in nature - in improvised music - everywhere - and with this i weave tapestries of sound for art installations performances and published music.

Currently studying to play the Japanese Shakuhatchi (a flute) and also studied some Indian Music.

Trying to survive for the moment in Berlin, but it doesn't feel like home - seeking a place for winter...

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is too precious to spend it with 'important' people" - Harry Partch...

"anicca, dukha, ananta"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been involved with networks (artistic and experimental music) since 1989 - CS seems to be somehow connected but to a wider range of folks - curious who's out there - and what paths might get crossed...

If I get settled down - I will offer a place to people too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Too many to relate - but I will for ever be committed to hosting the wayward traveler...

Interests

Weird music - movies - situations - etc and etc...

Recently reading a bit about ADVAITA (it is an indian philosophical system)...

Have a nice Haruki Murakami book these days... and someone lended me a Sherward Anderson book too - curious...
