ABOUT ME

Assalamu alaikum rahmatu Allah wa barakatu. My story is long. My grand parents came from Haleb a long time ago to Detroit area. They are maronite. And Alhomdulilah I became muslimah when I was 15 after reading Qur'an. (It's a long story). My husband is from Dimasque. I have a two year old son. I wish I was somewhere else b/c wearing hijab and abayah is getting hard here Subhana Allah. I am also looking for my family Shedeak (said like the bird) and Addis in Haleb. And like to learn cooking arabi and need to learn more arabi Insha Allah.

PHILOSOPHY

La illaha illAllah MOhamed Rasool Allah. If you are muslim and not practicing Islam like you should AIB alaik/alaiki. Allah subhana wa t'ala could take your soul any minute. If you died the next moment would you want Allah subhana wa t'ala meeting you in that state on Yauma Qeeama(Day of Judgement)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have heard a story of a Yahud (jewish) guy from New York who moved to jerusalem and was disgusted with all the fitna judaism had to offer. His children said dad we don't learn torah in school and the teachers wear short skirts. The man had a muslim neighbor and was talking to his filistini neighbor and he told him about tawheed (the oneness of God which islam teaches us which is the same religion as ALL the prophets from Adam a.s. to Mohamed saws. So the jew made shahada that night (became muslim). His moroccan jewish wife took a week and then accepted islam. And both moved to filistine (where the muslims are) and are learning arabic and Qur'an Masha Allah. ALLAHU AKBAR!
