ABOUT ME

I'm currently living in Istanbul, working at a university, but I'm still a student in Boston, USA. I'm doing what's called a "co-op" - basically, working while I'm still in school (we take classes for six months, work for six months, repeat). In America, I'm majoring in English and education and studying to become a teacher.

So, this is my first time seriously leaving the US, but it's been pretty fantastic and wonderful so far!

PHILOSOPHY

Right now, I'm interested in trying as many new things as possible and meeting as many amazing people as I can - I got tired of a daily life of monotony in Boston, and I'm trying to spice things up.

Interests

I love: literature, learning, indie movies, learning how to cook healthy and delicious food (and sometimes succeeding), poetry, yoga, long walks around Boston, 90's music, camping, ballet flats, fresh fruit, being crafty, and people who love life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty musically talented - I've played the clarinet for 10 years, so I can offer up knowledge of the instrument and of music theory. I'm also good at writing and editing and that sort of thing, board games, teaching in general (it's sort of my life plan), yoga, anything arts and crafts related, and making cool shit out of duct tape.

I want to learn how to dance well. Also, I'd like to learn how to cook better. I can feed myself, but I'm not good at anything spectacular, culinary-wise.
