About Me
Well "Hello" there.
Writing something about myself has always been kind of awkward to me. I'd rather prefer to have conversations with other humans were I share thoughts and things about myself. Face to face.
But I do understand that it is important to present yourself in some kind of way because... Who would invite a person inside their homes that they know not the slightest thing about.
My name is Nora and I was born and lived in Germany for the past 19 Years.
I am trying to be the best version of myself - being positive and sharing happiness. I am a friendly and open-minded person that would love to learn about other cultures and humans.
I also love animals and the nature~
To be completely honest I have been kind of scared by the thought of being hosted. "What is the person going to be like." "What if we do not get along?" "Is it save?" - all of these were thoughts that I had. Then I realized that Hosts probably have the same thoughts. Maybe even more. I mean; inviting a stranger into your house and treating them as a part of your family is extremely brave and loving.
I am looking forward to collect some amazing memories with people all over the world!
(In case there is something else you want to know about me; just ask. :) )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The reason I want to travel is to connect with locals and get to know the land more profound than a "simple" tourist. I can sleep in Hotels or Hostel in Germany - for that experience I do not have to leave this country.
But I want to meet locals and get to know the land with the help of the hosts. I truly think that this is the way of traveling that fits me the most.

I would love to learn the official language of the land I am visiting and would not mind to teach some german in case someone is interested. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
The most obvious one is the exchange of cultures and language. But I would also love to tell some stories (Or get told some) share some experiences and opinions.
