I'm pretty much all over the place. I'll try anything once and really don't take life too serious. I definitely work hard but play harder.
I'm originally from Germany but moved to the States as a child. After graduating from college I moved back to Germany but after a year decided to come back to Philly. My roommate was born and raised in Philly so she knows this city like the back of her hand! We've known eachother for over 6 years (college friends since freshman year!!). We are complete opposites in everything and get along just fine. One thing we do have in common is our eagerness to travel and learn about different cultures. We love meeting new people and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to help people who are fortunate enough to travel plus we get to meet some awesome people from around the world. I see it as a win, win situation.
"Do one thing every day that scares you."
~ Eleanor Roosevelt
I live by this.. well at least try to anyway.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to this and don't have any experience in CouchSurfing but hope to someday. I thought that since I really don't have the time to travel myself, I might as well be around people who do.
Many things interest me but the little things in life interest me the most.
Music, Movies, and Books
I watch a lot of movies (except gruesome movies)
I listen to a variety of music. (except hardcore heavy metal)
I read a ton of books. (I love my Kindle!)
I do admit I'm a reality TV junky and love TV sitcoms. I watch Will & Grace, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and SVU on rerun.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach many. Learn well. Share often.
My roommate can teach you how to make lemon meringue pie, dougie, and cornrow hair.
I can tell you where you can get the cheapest beer and best street food.
