stewardship, simplicity, and sharing
I grew up in urban metro manila and lived here all my life, though I've also been travelling all throughout the Philippines and Southeast Asia since I was a kid. I love the beach, mountains, sightseeing, the beach, scuba diving, waterfalls, the beach...
I taught at the state university for several years, but quit to join the corporate world in large part to gain more independence (and funds to travel). for better or for worse, am now turning a bit into a corporate yuppie. I'm 30, young-looking, fit (or I try to be), and shorter than I look in my pictures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
recently moved to my own condo in Makati, in the heart of the business district, just 1 min away from Greenbelt/Glorietta in Ayala Center, overall one of the best malling/hangout/nightlife spots in the country. have hosted several surfers and generally had a blast, so am definitely looking forward to my next hosting experience...
i enjoy hosting guests, hoping to surf sometime as well and meet cool people from around the world (or from around the corner).
books.. can't get enough of them. i enjoy movies, good times with friends, and the occasional party... but just lounging about at home is fun too.
Music, Movies, and Books
sci-fi, fantasy, graphic novels, historical fiction, classics... I'll read anything, actually. same goes for movies. pretty selective when it comes to TV
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
touched sharks and rays scuba diving in the Tubattaha Reef, strolled tipsy along the pristine beaches of Boracay, been hammered flat under the sheer weight of the Pagsanjan Falls, walked atop the forest canopy of Cagayan de Oro, froze solid at the Everest Base Camp in Tibet, rafted the Chico River rapids of Kalinga, spelunked the Sumaging caves of Sagada, leapt off sparkling waterfalls in Siquijor, went tubing on the rivers of Vang Vieng, motorbiked on mountain roads of Laos, bungee jumped off insane heights in Bali, surfed the pounding waves of La Union
