One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once, when it was almost sunset time, my friends and I took a drive through a thunderstorm in the Algerian part of the Sahara desert. The view of a desert sunset is already gorgeous so sunset+thunder is simply breathtaking.
One night, my friend and I were traveling across Texas when our car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, we found a old couple living nearby and they offered us to spend the night at their place, before helping us get help the next morning. I will never forget their kindness as well as their story. They were a couple of 80 year-old farmers, and had been married for over 65 years. As we spent the night in their beautiful barn, starring at a more beautiful starful summer night and eating the most delicious homemade cornbread, we just couldn't stop talking about how true love might still exist.
