Hello World! My name is Maria, Russia usually say "Masha". I live in St. Petersburg, Russia.

All my childhood and youth in the small suburban town of Dubna near Moscow. There still live my parents and brother.

I decided to move to St. Petersburg immediately after graduating from the University, where I received a specialty programmer.

For the past 5 years I have been working at a research institute. But my favorite thing is not the programming and computers - all my free time I devote to music. Therefore, if we talk about profession, I would call myself a musician. I play the flute, harp and sing in a chamber choir, with whom we very often we go to performances in different countries.

I'm married, and my husband is also a musician.
We both travel a lot together. Our favorite pastime is a travelling by a bicycle across Russia in the most distant places.

I can say that we are together very interesting and unusual family, in a good way. With us, never a dull moment, we can tell a lot of amazing stories.
And I hope that despite the fact that we are not very fluent in English, it does not become an obstacle to understanding.
