About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience other styles of life while challenging my own

ABOUT ME

I'd like to think that I'm a pretty down to earth, well rounded sort of person. I may be young but I've been told on several occasions that I act much older than my age. While I don't like to take anything to seriously, I also enjoy a meaningful conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

"No day but today."

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm an avid theatre/film person, so I love myself a good movie. I'm particularly fond of Sundance/independent movies and old Hollywood films. I love anything with James Dean, Ann-Margret, Marlen Brando, Elvis, or Marilyn Monroe in it.

Bernie, Donnie Darko, Ain't Them Bodies Saints, Chasing Amy, Clerks, Premier, Goodwill Hunting, Boyhood, Super, The Canyons, Apocalypse Now, On the Waterfront, etc.

Music: I'm a big fan of musicals and I enjoy anything from Disney to Phantom of the Opera. I'm really keen about all music but some of my favorite artists would be: The White Stripes, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Beck, Shakira, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, The Kooks, Suzie Quatro, The Runaways, The Kinks, etc.

Books: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Hunger Games, The hollows series, A Separate Peace, any historical fiction, and most biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I haven't traveled much, I've been lucky enough to not only travel to, but to live in beautiful places in the United States and elsewhere. I'd have to say that my best experience would be traveling to and living in the Highlands of Scotland. I was lucky enough to stay long term at a hostel in Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye, which happens to be a beautiful and wonderful place. Not only did I meet some wonderful and charismatic locals, but I also got to meet amazing people from all over the world. As I travel more I hope to add more things to my list of amazing experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, as a native english speaker I can help people with their english. Other than that, I am also a decent cook, painter, and I know how to start a coal fire.
