I am a Masters candidate at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, expecting to graduate in April 2018. I am a student of karate as well as a keen cyclist and hiking enthusiast. I do not like running. I also enjoy photography and am learning to play the recorder. Progress is slow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first it was to find somewhere for my colleague to stay who is in a bind but exploring the site has opened me up to the possibility of achieving my dream of travelling the world a bit much sooner that I though possible, financially :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't generally have favourites of specific things. My favourite genre of film and books is by far science fiction, especially hard scifi. My tastes range reasonably widely in music. For today, as I write this, my favourite artist is Flume.
